Your job choice is an important decision. Even more important is the way you receive training in your field of expertise. The IfT helps you to get information about vocational training and various degrees. The central focal point of our work are the fairs vocatium and nordjob in Germany and Austria. Those are designed for you to meet people who already work in or are in training for jobs you are interested in.

At vocatium fairs, students get into contact with professionals who already had training / did studies in the fields of expertise that are of interest for the students. In lectures and individual interviews students get informed and might find their future profession. There are around 85 vocatium fairs annually.

Our workshops and guides (printed and online), our Search area and our Learning Game will help you to prepare for your talks.

Our movie about the vocatium fairs gives you an impressum on how they work.
