And how do competences convert into job opportunities? The IfT emphasizes those competences by motivational speeches and projects together with schools and different institutions.
At vocatium fairs, students get into contact with professionals who already had training / did studies in the fields of expertise that are of interest for students. In lectures and individual interviews students get informed and might find their profession. There are around 85 vocatium fairs annually.

Parents are important counselors when it comes to finding the proper profession for their children. At parentum events parents get support in finding a vocation together with their children for their children. Duration of parentum events is 4 hours each, weekdays from 3 – 7 pm or Saturdays from 10 am - 2 pm.

Getting engaged in clubs and associations, be it cultural, sportive or political, can offer young adults valuable experiences for their professional future. Young adults get to know themselves and their talents, trying out various things. They obtain competences helping them to find a proper job and solutions to job-related tasks.
